Bo is a talented writer, and the theme of embodiment is fascinating. I love learning about "unconventional" ways to facilitate my own well-being, and this Substack explores one of them. Give it a read!
Chris Ryan's writings have made a huge impact on my life, much like those of Erich Fromm. They overlap with Fromm's in a beautiful way. What Ryan shares about how we lived before the onset of agriculture is more proof that society is sick, and looking at his writings side-by-side with Fromm's is a fascinating thing to do. Oh, and, Civilized to Death is a must read.
I love that this newsletter highlights a blindspot in traditional therapy. This Substack has brought a new awareness of the institutionalized ways we overlook so much of the population.
Erich Fromm was a strong proponent of Universal Basic Income (UBI), having suggested it in ways we might move forward in his book "The Sane Society." Scott is one of the leading thinkers, researchers and proponents of Universal Basic Income today. Here, he writes about UBI on occasion, but mostly shares some of the other interesting ideas swirling around in that wonderful brain of his. You can find more of his writings on UBI at ScottSantens.com
